LogiMAT Accompanying Program: Same Quality, New Format

LogiMAT 2022 will feature a wealth of information on all the latest themes of forward-looking intralogistics through a stimulating accompanying program of distinguished expert forums, live events in the outdoor areas, and up to 120 online presentations by exhibitors.

The proven model continues—but with a twist or two this year: The sophisticated accompanying program with real-world insights and conference-level presentations is one of the main reasons for the success of the LogiMAT brand. The first LogiMAT in nearly two-and-a-half years continues this tradition. To meet this high standard while complying with public health regulations, the organizer EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH in Munich has introduced some changes: The expert forum spaces, which used to be set up in the exhibit halls, will now be consolidated on stage in the new LogiMAT Arena in the East Entrance Atrium. Following the official opening and “Best Product” awards ceremony on the first day, more than 60 recognized experts from the business and academic communities and industry press explore current themes in intralogistics in 14 lecture series over the three days of the event. The spectrum ranges from future-proofing intralogistics through open source applications and artificial intelligence to options for optimizing order picking and processing workflows and the criteria for choosing AGVs, automation and warehouse management systems, and fire safety concepts for logistics centers. “Consolidating the expert forums in the East Entrance Atrium makes it possible to host our popular lecture series while ensuring a responsible level of social distancing,” explains LogiMAT Exhibition Director Michael Ruchty of EUROEXPO. “Up to 150 visitors can attend each event there and gather valuable information on future-proofing their intralogistics, optimizing their supply chain, enhancing efficiency, and lowering their logistics costs.”

120 exhibitor presentations set the tone for LogiMAT starting April 26

LogiMAT will use the outdoor area between the exhibit halls for the first time in 2022 so that prominent forklift manufacturers can present live use cases of some of their new intralogistics solutions.

The on-site event is augmented by the new “Forum Innovation.digital” program on the LogiMAT.digital online platform. From April 26 to May 25, you’ll find entertaining and informative 25-minute exhibitor presentations by as many as 120 companies offering sneak previews of the new products, solutions, and services that they’ll bring to Stuttgart. You’ll also find useful information about many tried-and-tested options for optimizing your intralogistics. After the kickoff on April 26, users can learn how to ensure compliance through online sanctions list screening, optimize inventory turnover by 20% using analyses and classifications, simplify and improve truck route planning through smart software solutions, and achieve better fleet management through the power of data. The range of topics also includes solutions for current issues and challenges as well as best practices—from active risk management for stable supply chains, automated yard management, and the integration of vision picking to reliable sorting technologies in warehouse logistics, field-tested AI apps in production, and smart steps toward implementing digital technology. “LogiMAT 2022, with its mix of 14 all-star expert forums and up to 120 online exhibitor presentations, offers industry professionals a genuine added value for making sound long-term investment decisions in intralogistics,” concludes Peter Kazander, Managing Director of EUROEXPO. “Our visitors from around the world can access this new and wide-ranging program when it livestreams and then afterward in our media library once they complete the free registration process.”
