Instrument Systems Appoints Dr. Marc Lünnemann as New CEO

Instrument Systems GmbH, a leading provider of highprecision light measurement technology and part of the Konica Minolta Group, has appointed Dr. Marc Lünnemann as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Dr. Lünnemann started in his new role on January 1st, 2026.

With more than 20 years of international experience in the lighting, automotive, and display industries, Dr. Lünnemann brings extensive expertise in leading global business units. His career includes various leadership positions in medium‑sized technology companies as well as global matrix organizations, including roles as CEO of OSRAM OLED GmbH, Docter Optics SE, and Novaled GmbH. His professional responsibilities have involved assignments in the USA, China, Korea and other international markets.

Dr. Lünnemann holds an Executive MBA and earned a PhD in physics with a focus on light, optics and solid‑state physics. His areas of expertise include strategy, organizational and business development as well as portfolio and M&A management.
