KAPELOU EU to feature A-Frame small-piece fulfilment and warehouse automation
Hall 1, Stand 1F14
KAPELOU EU is a manufacturer of warehouse intralogistics equipment engineered to optimize performance and improve operational efficiency. We will present the A-Frame picking system at LogiMAT 2026, one of Europe’s premier intralogistics trade shows. Visit us at Booth 1F14 to see live demonstrations of the A-Frame system, meet our experts, and explore how automation can transform fulfilment operations.
About the KAPELOU A-Frame system
The KAPELOU A-Frame is a modular automatic picking system designed for warehouses handling large assortments of small, fast-moving products. Its vertical dispensing channels feed a central conveyor, enabling a continuous and stable picking flow that improves throughput and reduces labor dependency.
This technology is suitable for logistics centers, distribution hubs, and omnichannel retail warehouses facing challenges such as rising labor costs, space constraints, and fluctuating order volumes.
Two fulfilment flows: Pick-to-Tote and Pick-to-Belt
Pick-to-Tote dispenses products directly into transport totes or containers:
- performance up to 3,600 operations/hour
- accuracy up to 99.98%
- compatibility: plastic and cardboard totes 400×300 mm or 600×800×400 mm
- benefit: minimal manual handling and predictable order flow.
Pick-to-Belt dispenses items onto a conveyor with lift flaps for a steady, rhythm-based flow:
- performance up to 1,200 operations/hour
- integration requires a transition zone for loading orders into totes
- benefit: smooth, even flow
Both flows support common European warehouse automation scenarios – from compact urban hubs to large distribution centers.
Advanced software – visibility and control
KAPELOU provides a robust, enterprise-grade software suite to accompany the A-Frame, enabling:
- real-time system monitoring via a unified dashboard
- full traceability with optional photo documentation
- configurable dispensing logic based on warehouse priorities
- productivity analytics for continuous operational improvement
The KAPELOU software significantly enhances warehouse fulfilment transparency, critical for sectors with strict accuracy, compliance, and traceability requirements.

Industry applications
The KAPELOU A-Frame system supports key logistics sectors:
- e-commerce & retail: fast, accurate processing of high-turnover SKUs
- pharmaceutical distribution: precise picking of packaged medicines, over-the-counter products and medical supplies with full audit traceability
- FMCG logistics: consistent throughput for cosmetics, household chemicals
- automotive & industrial: reliable handling of small metal parts, accessories, and components.
The system accommodates a wide range of plastic and cardboard packaging – from cylindrical bottles and jars to thin items such as blisters, sachets, and paper goods, as well as boxed cosmetics and vitamins.
Success story: pharmaceutical fulfilment in Eastern Europe
A major pharmaceutical distributor operating a 24/7 distribution network of over 27,000 pharmacies deployed the KAPELOU A-Frame to achieve consistent order accuracy and a fully traceable fulfillment process.
Key components of the solution:
- box-centering module for precise positioning
- infrared verification supporting varied packaging formats
- photo documentation stored within the customer’s IT infrastructure
- modular design ready for future expansion.
The installed base exceeds 9,000 A-Frame channels, currently operating in live warehouse environments.
Across multiple installations, KAPELOU systems have processed millions of cartons and totes, demonstrating stable performance in demanding warehouse environments.
