Real figures instead of forecasts – HOPPECKE presents new standard for battery investment decisions at LogiMAT 2026
It’s the elder sister of TCO and the key to up to 30% longer traction battery lifespans: PPC (Price per Cycle). Those who use this approach for their battery investments benefit from investment security, transparency, and predictable profitability right from the start.
However, simply scratching the surface isn’t enough. Like a diver exploring the bottom for coral and colorful fish, a detailed analysis is crucial. HOPPECKE will be delivering precisely this in-depth analysis at LogiMAT 2026 under the trade fair motto "Diving into details."
PPC – the elder sister of TCO
Logistics managers and purchasing decision-makers gain access to a PPC approach that relates the purchase price to the actual number of charge cycles achieved. The more charge cycles over the battery’s lifespan, the longer it lasts and the more economical it becomes.
In short, PPC makes differences in quality and lifespan visible – and enables more precise investment decisions than TCO models, which are often based on assumptions (service life, maintenance requirements, energy prices). In practice, this can mean, for example, gaining up to 6,000 additional operating hours per two batteries. This result has been independently validated by DNV in accelerated laboratory tests.
Calculate live at LogiMAT and determine your investment profits in a direct comparison
At LogiMAT, visitors can experience the PPC approach live and test it with their own data: HOPPECKE will be comparing real-world setups at booth 10F37 and demonstrating how factors such as cycle count, charging profiles, maintenance, and energy consumption influence the cost per cycle.
Would you like a first look beneath the surface?
In a fleet of 10 forklifts, for example, applying the PPC approach and choosing the right batteries can reduce the number of batteries by 25% (from 20 to 15) and the number of chargers by 50% (from 10 to 5) – a clear advantage in terms of space and operating costs.
To complement this in-depth look, HOPPECKE will also be presenting new products in the areas of batteries, chargers, technologies, and digitalization: from trak | uplift for heavy-duty applications and the new trak | Xtreme VR for compact vehicles, to the trak | charger HF premium with maximum charging power in minimal space, and trak | NFC (wireless battery detection, automatic correct charging), trak | monitor (real-time transparency and efficiency), and solutions for maximum energy density and long cycle times.
Visit HOPPECKE Batteries from March 24–26, 2026, at LogiMAT in Stuttgart: Hall 10, Booth F37.
As in diving, what truly matters lies beneath the surface.
