Tecnimusa showcases advanced automation for textile intralogistics and unveils new machine design at LogiMAT 2026

Hall 1, Stand 1G70

Tecnimusa, a specialized manufacturer of intralogistics automation equipment with extensive expertise in the textile and fashion industry, will participate in LogiMAT 2026. At the event, the company will present its full portfolio of automation solutions and unveil a new, more efficient and sustainable machine design.

With many years of experience in the textile and fashion sector, Tecnimusa designs, engineers, manufactures and integrates intralogistics automation solutions for major manufacturers and distributors such as Inditex, Mango, Next, Dürkopp Adler, Pikolinos, Liwe and many others. When no standard solution is available, Tecnimusa develops custom systems from the ground up and brings them into industrial operation, consistently adapting technology to real intralogistics challenges across diverse industrial environments.

New machine design and innovation-driven development

A key highlight of Tecnimusa’s presence at LogiMAT 2026 is the presentation of its new machine design. This redesign is based on a modular approach and optimized dimensions, enabling greater configuration flexibility and easier integration into different intralogistics environments. The new design also includes improvements aimed at simplifying maintenance tasks and optimizing system integration, while a redesigned user interface significantly enhances usability and operator interaction. All these developments have been implemented while maintaining Tecnimusa’s proven reliability standards and further strengthening the machines’ contribution to more sustainable intralogistics processes.

Innovation and research & development are at the core of Tecnimusa’s strategy. The company continuously invests in R&D, driven by the belief that ingenuity and curiosity are essential to solving real intralogistics challenges. Thanks to its ability to develop tailor-made solutions and adapt technologies to complex environments, Tecnimusa often acts as an external R&D partner for its customers, combining engineering expertise, manufacturing capability and a flexible, long-term vision.

At LogiMAT 2026, Tecnimusa will present a comprehensive portfolio focused on two key areas of intralogistics automation: cardboard handling and garment-on-hanger (GOH) intralogistics.

360° automation for cardboard handling

Tecnimusa has developed a complete range of machines that automate all essential stages of cardboard handling, including automatic box erecting, opening, closing and sealing. These solutions are suitable for both new and used cartons, allowing companies to significantly reduce packaging costs without compromising operational safety. The automatic case erector is the only solution on the market capable of performing an automatic format change. This allows the system to adapt to different box sizes without stopping production. This capability represents a key differentiating factor compared to conventional case erectors, which typically require manual adjustments or downtime. The result is uninterrupted operation, high flexibility and reliable performance, even in highly dynamic logistics environments.

Tecnimusa’s box opening machines automate the cutting of box closures, preventing the typical damage caused by manual opening. The system detects box dimensions in real time and adjusts the cutting depth so that it remains below the cardboard thickness. This prevents damage to the goods, even when boxes are filled beyond their nominal capacity. This automated process significantly reduces opening times and eliminates variability in the logistics chain, ensuring a stable and consistent material flow.

The box closing and sealing machines are designed to handle both empty boxes and boxes filled beyond their standard capacity. Thanks to intelligent format detection and automatic adjustment to variations in length, width and height, the systems ensure continuous throughput even with mixed formats. The ability to seal boxes with up to 20% overfill relative to nominal capacity leads to substantial transport cost savings by optimizing box volume utilization.

By enabling the reuse of boxes received from suppliers, these closing and sealing systems help drastically reduce environmental impact. The machines support both adhesive tape and water-activated paper tape and offer longitudinal sealing on both the top and bottom of the box, further enhancing efficiency and sustainability.

Automated counting for garment-on-hanger (GOH) intralogistics

The second core area of Tecnimusa’s portfolio is garment-on-hanger (GOH) intralogistics. The company has developed a specialized machine line for the automatic counting of hanging garments, based on Tecnimusa’s own patented technology. This proprietary solution achieves levels of accuracy, reliability and process continuity that cannot be reached with conventional systems, positioning Tecnimusa’s GOH technology as a unique and clearly differentiated offering within the textile and fashion supply chain.

The GOH garment counter enables the automated counting of batches of hanging garments and transmits barcode and quantity data in real time via standardized TCP/IP communication. This allows full in-transit control and real-time traceability of goods throughout the logistics center, as well as immediate detection of incidents such as missing garments or items that have fallen during transport. By eliminating manual counting, human errors are removed and discrepancies can be detected and corrected instantly.

In addition, real-time data transmission enables the immediate detection of damaged, deactivated or missing RFID tags, improving data quality and inventory accuracy. The system can be adapted to any type of overhead conveyor, accommodates different hanger formats and thicknesses, and operates reliably even under extreme conditions such as crossed or overlapping hangers or garments covered with protective film. It supports conveyor speeds of up to 2 meters per second with an error rate of less than 1 in 10,000 and remains reliable during stop-and-go operation or speed fluctuations.

Complementing this solution, Tecnimusa also presents its automatic garment counter for loading docks. This system has been developed to optimize intralogistics operations by generating packing lists in real time and instantly verifying incoming goods, eliminating the need for manual counting at unloading points. As a result, trucks can avoid waiting times caused by manual checks, reducing delays and associated costs.

The loading dock counter centralizes data in real time, displays results on the operator screen and transmits information to management systems to monitor dock performance, organize unloading operations and generate reports. By automating verification and documentation, personnel allocation is optimized and the overall efficiency of inbound logistics is improved.

Industry professionals, logistics experts and decision-makers are invited to visit Tecnimusa at LogiMAT 2026 in Hall 1, Stand 1G70 to discover how intralogistics automation solutions can make textile logistics processes more efficient, competitive and sustainable. Meetings with the Tecnimusa team can be scheduled in advance to discuss specific intralogistics challenges and customized automation projects.
