Global Lifecycle Partner for Renewable Energies

TÜV SÜD supports the expansion of renewable energy and the transition to a sustainable and increasingly electrified energy supply. At Intersolar Europe 2026, the company will present itself as a global lifecycle partner offering a comprehensive range of services – from power generation and energy storage to power control, and from the production of systems and components through to commissioning and operation. The trade fair will take place from June 23 to 25, 2026 in Munich. (Hall A4, Stand 4.434)

With a network of 1,000 locations in 50 countries, TÜV SÜD is ideally positioned to support renewable energy plants throughout their entire lifecycle – including decommissioning and recycling. Services include testing and certification of equipment and components in accordance with national and international standards, factory inspections at manufacturers in Asia, Europe, and North America, as well as construction supervision, commissioning tests, and periodic inspections of plants, or support for modernization and repowering projects.

For planners, developers, and operators of renewable energy plants, TÜV SÜD offers comprehensive services for the compliant planning and implementation of projects. For buyers, sellers, and investors of wind farms, PV plants, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and hybrid parks, our experts provide a solid basis for decision-making – through Technical Due Diligence (TDD), bankable reports, feasibility studies, and evaluations of contractual terms and financing models.

Seize the opportunities offered by hybrid parks and minimise the risks

Hybrid parks are becoming increasingly important for the rapid expansion of renewable energy. The combination of wind power and photovoltaic systems, potentially supplemented by battery storage, offers the opportunity to balance fluctuations in generation and optimize the use of existing grid infrastructure. Careful planning is crucial for the successful implementation of hybrid parks, particularly with regard to grid compliance and the overall system. Technical reviews conducted by independent experts throughout the project play a key role in reducing the risks associated with such complex projects for operators, banks, and investors.

TÜV SÜD holds extensive accreditations for the necessary certifications of systems, components, installations, and complete wind, solar or hybrid farms. For example, TÜV SÜD Denmark was accredited in February 2026 for the EU Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, which is a key component of the European sustainability and industrial strategy.
