Textile Processing Across the Entire Value Chain: Fully Integrated Production Facility Available for Sale

The European textile industry is undergoing profound transformation. Rising production costs, increasing global competitive pressure, and changing market demands have rendered large-scale manufacturing facilities increasingly rare across Europe. Yet successful production sites managed to maintain their position for decades – among them the textile manufacturing facility of BTB, Ruse in Bulgaria.

Located in northern Bulgaria, the BTB facility in Ruse is one of the last textile manufacturing plants of its scale in Europe. BTB, a long-established Bulgarian manufacturer under German management, built a reputation for quality and operational excellence. Following the closure of its production operations, a fully integrated industrial manufacturing facility is now entering the market — offering substantial potential for future industrial redevelopment and increased manufacturing capacity.

From Yarn to Finished Garment: BTB Ruse Set Industry Benchmarks

Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Ruse, Bulgaria, the textile manufacturer established itself over decades as a key producer of premium womenswear. The facility was regarded as one of Bulgaria’s leading apparel manufacturers and combined the complete textile value chain under one roof — from material inspection and cutting to final shipment of finished garments.

The marketing of the site does not merely offer a complete production facility, but rather a highly developed industrial platform featuring standardized processes, documented workflows, and modern infrastructure.

Versatile Fashion Manufacturing Through Vertical Integration

The defining characteristic of the BTB facility lies in its fully integrated structure. While many textile manufacturers operate within fragmented supply chains, the Ruse site was deliberately designed for seamless end-to-end production. This enabled highly efficient operations with short internal distances, full control over every production stage, and exceptional transparency throughout the entire material flow.

A sophisticated and fully traceable material flow system ensured optimized internal logistics, reduced material loss, and secure handling of sensitive fabrics. Comprehensive quality assurance procedures further reinforced the factory’s high production standards. In an industry increasingly driven by demands for quality, speed, and traceability, this holistic operational model represented a significant competitive advantage until the very end.

Modular Womenswear Production with High Manufacturing Capacity

The facility achieved a production output of approximately 1,000 to 1,200 garments per eight-hour shift. Production focused primarily on premium womenswear, including blazers, trousers, coats, and dresses.

The production assets available for sale include automated cutting systems, advanced spreading technology, precision cutting equipment, and nine complete sewing lines. In addition, the portfolio comprises automated pocket systems, sleeve processing equipment, long-arm machines, and specialized hand-stitch workstations.

A key factor in preserving the value of the machinery has been its rigorous maintenance program: all equipment was regularly serviced, documented, and maintained exclusively with original spare parts.

Efficient Reallocation of Industrial Resources

Within the textile industry, the sustainable reuse of industrial production assets is becoming increasingly important. Through the professional marketing of the BTB Bulgaria facility, high-quality equipment, specialized technologies, and established production structures can not only be reassigned to new economic purposes, but also strategically expanded for future growth.

Beyond manufacturing itself, the site also includes downstream processing and logistics systems such as industrial pressing systems, specially developed ironing technology, automated packaging solutions, and a 3.5km long suspended transport system for finished garments.

Asset Recovery and Marketing Built on Trust

The facility in Ruse stands as evidence that BTB Bulgaria has consistently represented high quality standards alongside clearly structured operational processes. Against this backdrop, the established textile manufacturer selected Maynards Europe as its trusted partner for the realization and marketing of this highly specialized large-scale facility.

Particularly in the case of complex industrial production sites, professionally managed asset marketing not only provides economic relief for operators, but also creates valuable opportunities for investors and future industrial reuse.
