Last call for registration: FSK Specialist Day at Cannon in Milan, Italy

The two-day event begins on 17 September 2025 with a visit to the Alfa Romeo Museum in Milan, Arese. This will be followed by the internal FSK meeting of the association’s largest Polyurethanes. In particular, the election of the group spokespersons is on the agenda. Afterwards, all participants (including non-members) are invited to a cosy get-together and dinner together starting at 19:00 at the La Perla restaurant in Saronna.

The association gladly followed the invitation of the Cannon Group to together organize the event in northern Italy. There have already been successful International Conference Days at Cannon in the past. And this year it is also a special year for the member company. Cannon is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. The family business shows that tradition and innovation goes hand in hand with one another.

Marco Volpato, President & CEO of the Cannon Group, will welcome the participants himself and open the day of the lecture on 19 September 2025 with his presentation ‘Driving growth through collaboration and connection’. During the subsequent factory tour of Cannon Afros in Caronno Pertusella, participants will be able to gain unique insights, watch and witness the innovative strength of the Cannon Group.

This will be followed by a technical presentation from Electrolux SpA. Elio Toni and Corrado Cecchini, experts in food preservation will present PU foaming process for domestic refrigerators. Massimo Gilardi from Toscana Gomma SpA will talk about ‘Agile Foam: from car seats to pillows, adapting polyurethane moulding for different comfort needs’. COIM SpA will also be represented at the symposium. In his presentation ‘From Recycled to Bio-based: low-embodied carbon polyols for rigid PU foams’, Alessandro Gallipoli will introduce participants to one aspect of the topic of sustainability.
