Opto sets the course for the future

On 1 January 2026, Dr Daniel Kraus was appointed as the second managing director. Together with long-standing managing director and owner Markus Riedi, he will be responsible for the strategic and technological development of the company in future.

Dr Kraus has been with Opto for several years and has made a significant contribution to the technological orientation and innovative strength of the company during this time. His appointment to the management board is a deliberate step towards shaping the generational change at an early stage, securing knowledge for the long term and providing new impetus for future markets and applications.
