Bartels: Live Demonstrations of New „Automatic Tower“

Hall 1, Booths B69 & B71

What began as an idea has quickly taken shape and is now in high demand. Last year, Karl H. Bartels GmbH began the production of its new "Automatic Tower". The first units are now in operation and have received consistently positive feedback. "Retrieving stored goods is now significantly more efficient, safer, and ergonomically sound than with traditional shelving solutions," says Bartels Managing Director, Sebastian Krayenborg. A wide variety of materials, ranging from long-span goods, to sheet materials, and individual items, can be stored in the Tower. Thanks to this development, Bartels, which is known for its custom-made shelving, can now build virtually any type of shelving for automated operation.

Automatic Tower impresses with ease of use and mistake-free operations

At LogiMAT 2026, Bartels will be showcasing a model of its "Automatic Tower" for the first time, allowing interested parties to experience its functionality first-hand. "This makes it even easier for visitors to understand the Tower. They can learn directly from our consultants, just how simple and reliable it is. The Tower is so easy to operate that even untrained personnel will be able to use it after a very brief introduction. This should be of great interest to many companies, especially in times of skilled labor shortages," says Krayenborg. Bartels is currently seeking suitable partners for the international distribution of its newly developed solution. "Since our products require a strong sense of customer service, we are seeking to work with like-minded sales partners in other countries," adds Krayenborg.

Travelling Crane and Stair Climber

Additionally, Bartels will be showcasing a selection of other shelving systems and solutions for the safe, ergonomic movement of loads, in Hall 1. Among the exhibits will be a travelling crane from Kaltenbach, which requires no anchoring and can be repositioned and used for a wide variety of  applications. "The travelling crane is available in various configurations. With a lifting capacity of up to 500kg, many different applications are possible," explains Sebastian Krayenborg. Bartels will also be presenting a selection of stair climbing transport equipment. This includes the classic Domino and Skipper models from Italian manufacturer Zonzini and the Donkey series from Antano.
