SP⁺ HIGH SPEED Generation 3: The new generation of precision gearboxes for performance and productivity

The performance of the SP⁺ HIGH SPEED Generation 3 precision gearbox series from the alpha Advanced Line opens up new opportunities for machine manufacturers to make their machines more powerful, more efficient and more robust. The new SP⁺ HIGH SPEED combines exceptionally high continuous speeds – roughly twice the current market standard – with improved controllability and thermal characteristics that have been significantly enhanced further still. The result is more compact machines, better performing drive systems, higher productivity and more reliable operation. The upshot is that the new SP⁺ HIGH SPEED doesn’t just deliver a faster gearbox – it enhances the entire drive system.

Galaxie^® GA: Maximum design flexibility for parallel-axis drive solutions

With the Galaxie^® GA series, WITTENSTEIN galaxie is ushering in a whole range of applications by adding an especially flexible drive concept to its Galaxie^® technology. A spur gear stage installed upstream allows for the compact integration of a wide variety of industrial motors and gearbox variants from the WITTENSTEIN product range, to suit each application. The modular design also enables the incorporation of coaxial or right-angled input stages. Another, often decisive, advantage is that the hollow shaft of the Galaxie^® – essential in many applications – is retained in full, regardless of the chosen input stage or connected motor. This way, media, cables and other functional elements can continue to be routed centrally through the gearbox. At the same time, users of the Galaxie^® GA can benefit from the unique performance of Galaxie^® technology, with its high torque density, exceptional torsional rigidity and absolute zero backlash.

More torque in the existing space: Size 60 cyber^® dynamic actuator R now available

With the launch of the cyber^® dynamic actuator R in a new, powerful size 60, WITTENSTEIN cyber motor has now completed the cyber^® dynamic motor series of servo motors, which was first unveiled at last year’s SPS, with a high-quality, corrosion-resistant stainless steel housing. Featuring torques of up to 64 Nm, the actuator delivers a high power density in a compact, integration-friendly design. Like the smaller actuators in the series, it is also available in three versions, Standard, Inox and Hygienic, with a protection rating of up to IP69K at the cable outlet. Optional features such as an axial or radial cable outlet, a 1- or 2-stage integrated gearbox, single- or multiturn encoders and holding brake enable the cyber^® dynamic actuator R to be customized to individual requirements. All servo actuators are designed with single-cable technology and excel in their high torques and dynamism. They offer a professional, compact drive solution for demanding motion applications in machines where space is at a premium.

Under the umbrella of the WITTENSTEIN group, baramundi software is exhibiting its combination of unified endpoint management and proactive endpoint operations at SPS 2026. Transparent, efficient and cyber-secure endpoint management with IT compliance meets real-time performance monitoring to create a solution that is capable of monitoring and protecting IT systems in manufacturing environments, guaranteeing trouble-free operation.

Cybersecurity with the SAFERTOS^® safety-critical real-time operating system from WITTENSTEIN high integrity systems

At SPS 2026, WITTENSTEIN high integrity systems, part of WITTENSTEIN motion control GmbH, will showcase SAFERTOS^® and its Enhanced Security Module (ESM), highlighting how cybersecurity and functional safety are increasingly becoming assurance challenges as well as technical challenges. As regulatory expectations evolve, including those introduced by the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), organizations are being asked not only to develop secure and safe products, but also to demonstrate how software has been developed, verified and maintained throughout its lifecycle.
