Ampyr Solar Europe opens its Gorgast solar park cluster in Brandenburg, Germany
Ampyr Solar Europe (ASE) is proud to announce the opening of its Gorgast solar park cluster in Brandenburg, Germany. With a total capacity of 45 MWp, the project marks another milestone in ASE’s mission to advance the energy transition in Europe. The Gorgast solar park consists of PV installations on three sites, operating as a single plant; Gorgast Bahn, Gorgast Gewächshaus and Manschnow. The cluster delivers an installed capacity of 45 MWp, covers 40.6 hectares and comprises almost 75,000 solar panels. The entire Gorgast solar plant cluster generates enough clean electricity to power around 13,000 households and avoids approximately 22,000 tons of CO2 emissions each year. A particular highlight of…

Inauguration Solar Park Noordoostpolder
On 11 September, Ampyr Solar Europe officially inaugurated Solar Park Noordoostpolder, its largest solar park in the Netherlands to date. Spanning 54 hectares and comprising more than 159,000 solar panels, the facility delivers an installed capacity of 96 MWp, equivalent to the annual electricity demand of over 33,000 households. The project will also provide significant environmental benefit, avoiding nearly 32,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year. Solar Park Noordoostpolder forms part of a 16-kilometre gigawatt-scale renewable energy corridor, incorporating wind farms, BESS, and the largest contiguous solar cluster in the Netherlands. A next-generation energy landscape What sets this project apart is the close collaboration with landowners, public authorities, and other…

AMPYR Solar Europe and ROCKWOOL Sign Long-Term Solar PPA for Sustainable Energy Supply
AMPYR Solar Europe (ASE) and ROCKWOOL have signed a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to supply more than 50 GWh of renewable electricity annually from ASE’s new 96 MWp Noordoostpolder solar facility in Flevoland, starting in 2026. The solar energy, along with Guarantees of Origin, will be physically delivered via the public grid to ROCKWOOL’s operations, supporting its sustainability strategy and decarbonization goals. This green energy supports ROCKWOOL in the reduction of their carbon footprint, advancing their ambition to achieve net-zero emissions by reducing dependence on fossil fuels and stabilising long-term energy costs. As one of the cleanest and most abundant sources of energy, solar power contributes not only to…
