Together with our bat mascot Batty and the sales staff, the children aged 2 to 6 learned what sound waves are and how they work, got to know our versatile microphones, e.g. the CMV563, and, of course, were allowed to speak or shout into a microphone themselves. The conference at the Bella Centre, one of Scandinavia’s largest exhibition and conference centers, provided excellent opportunities for scientific lectures, colloquia, sessions, exhibitions, workshops and creative interactions. The technical program included plenary lectures, invited lectures and papers as well as poster presentations on all aspects of acoustics.
