Durch die gezielte Teilreparatur des Gestells in nur 42 Tagen wurde die Produktionsausfallzeit auf ein Minimum reduziert Der sektorbezogene Austausch von Paul-Wurth-Kohlenstoffblöcken in Kombination mit hitzebeständigem Beton gewährleistet eine lange Lebensdauer SMS group hat die Teilreparatur des BF4-Hochofengestells bei Třinecké Železárny a.s. in Tschechien erfolgreich durchgeführt. Der Ofen mit einem Produktionsvolumen von 3.100 Tonnen Roheisen pro Jahr wies starken Verschleiß im Gestellbereich auf und die Zustellung um das Abstichloch herum war nahezu vollständig abgenutzt. SMS group ersetzte die Kohlenstoffblöcke und stellte das gesamte Gestellprofil mit hitzebeständigem Beton wieder her.
