ITG Netherlands changes name into LGI
Since 1993 ITG is offering services also in the Netherlands, when the company opened an airfreight-branch in Amsterdam. In the meantime the Dutch country organisation of ITG developed into a logistics service provider with focus on end-to-end solutions mainly for the sectors electronics and healthcare. As these sectors are core competencies of LGI group, who acquired ITG in 2013, the services now will be operated under the LGI brand. Therefor the company also changed its name into LGI Netherlands B.V.
This new configuration will give LGI Netherlands an extra boost to further business development to existing and potential new customers, with great access to the LGI network and innovations. With our existing campus locations in Rotterdam and Amsterdam plus offices for air- and oceanfreight forwarding in Schiphol and Rotterdam LGI Netherlands is able to deliver integrated end-to-end logistics solutions including a great variety of VAS activities.
The brand of ITG, being a daughter company of LGI, is focusing on fashion & lifestyle services, e-commerce solutions as well as air & sea freight forwarding.
The ITG Group, headquartered in Schwaig at Munich Airport / Germany, is a medium-sized and global acting logistics and fulfillment service provider. The range of services provides all services that customers require along their entire supply chain from procurement to the end customer. Transport logistics includes air and sea freight services, land transport and complete customs clearance.
ITG is a member of LGI Logistics Group International GmbH. Since 2016, LGI and ITG are part of the Elanders Group, a Swedish company that is active in the supply chain management sector. The Elanders Group has more than 6,000 employees in some 20 countries on four continents.
