Dr. Michael Wenzel is the new Managing Director at Kurtz Ersa Automation

As of 01.04.2021, Dr. Michael Wenzel takes over the management of Kurtz Ersa Automation GmbH. Dr. Wenzel received his doctorate in physics from the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg in 1992. During his now 30-year career, the internationally experienced manager has served as managing director, consultant, and interim manager of well-known companies in the fields of mechanical and plant engineering as well as automation. From 2003 to 2018, Dr. Michael Wenzel was also a member of the "Robotics & Automation" board within the German Mechanical and Plant Engineering Federation (VDMA). During this time, he held offices such as Chairman of the Robotics Department and Chairman of the Robotics & Automation Association.

Dr. Michael Wenzel has already been working for the Kurtz Ersa Corporation for six months. Initially as delegate of the advisory board in an advisory capacity for the Kurtz Ersa Automation business unit. Dr. Wenzel is an expert in the successful business development of technology companies and an accomplished manager for all relevant areas such as development, production, sales, purchasing and service. The main task of the new managing director will be the sustainable growth of the Kurtz Ersa Automation business unit.
