Messingschlager presents two new platforms in the E-Mobility range

The importer Messingschlager (Baunach) is expanding its e‐mobility solutions in the form of two new e‐bike models for the 2022 season. Both can be seen for the first time at Eurobike (hall A5 / booth 100) and IAA Mobility (hall B6 / booth C46).

In cooperation with Messingschlager, OEM customers can bring their own e‐bike models to market maturity in a maximum of 12 months on the basis of the now eight Messingschlager e‐bike concepts. "We accompany and advise our customers all the way up to the market launch of their own e‐bike range, from the idea to procurement and delivery," emphasizes Christian Heymanns, Product Manager E‐Mobility Solutions

A new model and a premiere at Messingschlager in this bike category is the "MUC.C.al SUV", a modern pedelec interpretation of the well‐known bike type "All Terrain Bike". It is designed as an all‐road model with a low entry that feels comfortable in the city as well as on bike paths and off‐road in lighter terrain. With relaxed geometry, roughly profiled 2.35‐inch tires, extended suspension travel from 80 to 100mm, discreetly integrated mudguard and carrier integration and powerful lighting system, it is a real high‐quality allrounder. Propulsion is provided by the well‐known Brose Generation 2 drives and fully integrated batteries with 522 or 630 Wh, controlled by Brose Displays. Details on the MUC.C.al SUV can be found at https://www.messingschlager.com/….

Another new release that can be seen live for the first time at Eurobike 2021 is the “MUC.Y.Al” model for children and young people. On trips together, children often have to struggle with a lack of strength and stamina, which ultimately reduces the fun for everyone on the bike trip. The MUC.Y.Al is suitable for children from about nine years and a size between 130 and 160 cm due to its frame height and the 24 “wheels (26” wheels in planning). The light Bafang H600 rear motor with a fully integrated 360 Wh battery provides the drive, which also ensures a low overall weight. Weight is an important argument, especially for children.

“The e‐bike is and will remain the most important trend in our industry in all of its many facets. Last year almost two million e‐bikes were sold in Germany alone. With the two new models, we stand by this development and we will continue to expand our portfolio of e‐bike platforms in the future with e‐bike concepts and load‐appropriate bicycle parts ”says Managing Director Dennis Schömburg.
