Chemical distributor OQEMA Poland enters new partnership with Orchidia Europe to strengthen its fragrance portfolio

OQEMA Poland is part of the OQEMA Group, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Founded as a small, family-run chemical producer, the company is now one of the top 10 chemical distributors in Europe. OQEMA Poland offers chemical services and has offices in Ozorków and Warsaw, a strategically positioned warehouse with over 10,000 m², and is ISO 9001:2015, GMP, IFS, and Fami-OS-certified.

Orchidia has created and manufactured fragrances for more than 90 years. In 1984 Salvatore Sprovieri, owner of Flavorchem Corporation, acquired Orchid Laboratories, a Chicago-based company founded in 1931. The company was immediately given a facelift, a new technical backbone (in tradition with its parent company) and renamed Orchidia Fragrances. The company’s Europe plant is located in Kerepes, Hungary and started its operation in 2021.

“After Flavorchem Europe successfully partnered with OQEMA Poland, we decided to further expand our cooperation, leveraging our fragrance capabilities of the brand new Orchidia Fragrances plant in Kerepes, Hungary” shared Tamás Klenczner, General Manager of Orchidia Europe.
