XERVON Wind continues to grow its business

XERVON Wind GmbH, a firm specialising in technical services for the wind energy sector, has purchased GWS Tech Service GmbH. Under the terms of the agreement, the company has taken over all of its business activities as well as all of its employees. The signing of the transaction took place on 25 April 2022 and the closing on 1 June 2022.

GWS primarily focuses on the wind energy sector serving both manufacturers and operators of wind turbines. Key services offered by the company include assembling, disassembling, maintaining and commissioning hydraulic systems as well as performing structural tests, carrying out mandatory checks on equipment components and holding training courses on hydraulic systems and bolting techniques. Moreover, it also repairs and appraises access systems in collaboration with inspection bodies.

Maik Schlapmann, managing director of XERVON Wind, emphasised the significance of this acquisition for these rising wind energy experts: "Thanks to this purchase, XERVON Wind’s dynamic growth will gain even more momentum. It will not only create a number of strategic advantages as regards our portfolio of highly specialised services but will also further strengthen our personnel and technical capacities." The integration of the acquired business activities – which XERVON Wind will continue to offer under its own name – will also strengthen the company’s presence on the market. XERVON Wind managing director Tobias Wilming commented: "Looking at the acquisition from a regional point of view, the new business location in Geilenkirchen will enable us to be even closer to our customers. We will expand it accordingly so that we can offer our current and future customers an even wider range of services."
