TrendSet Winter 2023 starts the exhibition season for the industry in Munich

It is the first Interiors & Lifestyle trade fair of the year. Directly after the holidays, from 7 to 9 January 2022 in Munich, TrendSet Winter 2023 is showing with over 1,500 international brands and collections what is to be had in the Spring/Summer 2023 season. Three days long, from Saturday to Monday, trade visitors from southern and central Germany from the retail, wholesale, online, hotel, and restaurant and catering trades, along with interested buyers from neighbouring European countries, including Scandinavia, can discover the latest trends and products in person and order them directly.

The trade fair year for the Interiors & Lifestyle sector starts in Munich in 2013 at TrendSet Winter 2023. Those who wish to discover and order the newest trends for the coming season and Easter will visit TrendSet. In the 15 Interiors & Lifestyle Fair Areas and the three Topic Areas TrendSet Newcomer, TrendSet Fine Arts, and TrendSet Bijoutex, exhibitors will present their new  products, interior designs, and accessories in Living & Giving.

NEW: Product preview online and view of trends in the TrendSet Journal-Catalogue

The TrendSet Journal provides the first overview of the new season’s trends for trade visitors of TrendSet. TrendSet has now combined its Trend Journal and the trade fair catalogue in one medium for the first time. Now, trade visitors will find the information on trends, products, exhibitors, halls, Fair Areas, and the fair in the new TrendSet Journal-Catalogue – all in one place and optimally arranged for planning a visit to TrendSet. Three weeks before the start of the fair, the TrendSet Journal-Catalogue is sent to a selected group of trade visitors and is available online at trendset.de/en/trends/trendset-journal/. Another new feature at TrendSet: the product overview by brand in the Exhibitor and Brand Search at trendset.de/en/exhibitorsearch/. At this site, exhibitors and brands at TrendSet Winter 2023 are already showing the new products that will be seen in January in Munich.

Feature at TrendSet Winter 2023: 460 top brands for kitchens

They are among the classic products at exhibitions, and yet have less and less space at trade fairs: kitchen articles and accessories. At TrendSet Winter 2023, interested trade visitors will find many top and traditional brands for trendy kitchen articles and household goods in Hall B2.

TrendSet Managing Director
Tatjana Pannier

“The kitchen is space for living! It’s where people meet, talk to each other, cook, eat, and drink – conviviality in the kitchen has always been important. Being together with family or friends was and is an important part of our quality of life. The kitchen is the true centre of the house – a rational workspace, but at the same time, a cosy space to meet up in. The products that make up a kitchen, lending it attractiveness, comfort, and convenience, are given plenty of space at TrendSet Winter 2023. You will find tableware, storage, towels and cloths, and utensils at TrendSet, along with new food trends, delicacies and fancy foods, gourmet products, and innovative beverage ideas. Don’t forget that Kitchen & Tabletop and Food & Drink are part of lifestyle. In this sector, too, the focus is increasingly on regional and local products and also on sustainability in production and the result,“ commented Tatjana Pannier, Managing Director of TrendSet.

Trends in Spring/Summer 2023

Sustainability is the main topic of Spring/Summer 2023. Sustainability refers to the materials, production, and attitude of companies as well as to the personal lifestyle of each individual. Not only the things we use and consume should become more sustainable, but also life itself. Rest, relaxation, and mindfulness strengthen our spiritual, mental, and physical well-being.

The designs are based on the longing for nature and origin. Wood, hemp, rattan, stone, and cotton are the preferred materials, showing natural intentions. Organic shapes appear flowing, round, or wavy for a soothing look. Light pastel colours such as matte lavender or light shades of blue and turquoise add a touch of serenity to the designs. Rich, fresh green serves to lift one’s mood. Grounding is provided by sandy beige. Fiery red and bright ochre conjure up the colours of the sunset for the home. The designs combine different styles such as vintage, cottage chic, Scandi style, glamour home, and modern interiors into a melange of cosy looks. The trends LIGHT TIMES, SENSING PLACES, and HAPPY ZONES translate the trends for Spring/Summer 2023 into the styles in the Interiors & Lifestyle sector.
