Innovative vice simplifies 5-axis machining

The TeleSense 125 with integrated clamping force monitoring offers a whole range of advantages for the user – now the 5-axis vice is offered in two additional versions. A version in low height and with extended lower part cover further applications.

If you want to achieve optimum results with a 5-axis machine, you have to clamp your workpieces correctly. The TeleSense 125 offers all the necessary features for the best possible machining. Users enjoy numerous advantages such as a low tightening torque, integrated clamping force monitoring and an extensive range of accessories.

Extended lower part for a clamping width of up to 665 mm

With a jaw width of 125 mm, the 5-axis vice offers a clamping range of 0-206 mm. With an extension element of the spindle, even 281 mm can be achieved – without changing the lower part.

If you want to clamp and machine larger workpieces, you can extend the modular system of the vice with another lower part with 398 mm. The clamping width is thus extended to 665 mm. The clamping force build-up remains optimal even with the extension.

Optionally, the 5-axis vice in height 187 mm is equipped with an integrated clamping force monitoring.

This means that the clamping force is always under control when clamping the workpiece and during machining. Fluctuations or a decrease in the clamping force are immediately apparent. This reduces errors during machining and protects both the operator and the machine. The clamping force is immediately shown on the display and can also be transmitted to end devices such as mobile phones or laptops via Bluetooth.

Maximum flexibility with a wide range of accessories

The TeleSense is constructed according to a modular system. By adding various accessories such as jaws, extensions or draw-down elements, numerous set-ups can be realised with the 5-axis vice. This makes the user maximally flexible.

The universal quick-change jaw enables short set-up times, a jaw change can be carried out within 10 seconds without the need for many tools. The jaw is a real all-rounder and covers a wide range of different set-ups.  Clamping of parallel, round and unshaped parts or on grip and draw-down clamping are easy to realise.

By using jaw adapters, all mobile jaws of the NC8, Titan 2, CentroGripp and T-Rex series can be used.

All that is needed to operate the entire vice is an M10 hexagonal spanner and a torque wrench.

The low tightening torque ensures ergonomic working conditions. A power-transformed spindle enables a clamping force of 40 kN with only 50 Nm. Comparable vices often require 100 Nm and more.

The TeleSense 125 has an optimal design for 5-axis machining. The symmetrical design allows excellent accessibility from all sides.

The TeleSense 125 comes with a height of 187 mm. To facilitate traverse paths and accessibility, the vice without force monitoring is also offered in a lower height of 165 mm.
