Farasis Energy at the Battery Show Europe 2024: Different cell chemistries as the key to the future

Nuertingen, April 8th, 2024 – The electromobility market is developing rapidly – new advances in the use of different raw materials, the composition of cell chemistries, the expansion of application areas, and the development of new markets set the pace. With more than 20 years of experience in research and development, Farasis Energy is positioning itself as a strong partner for the shift to sustainable mobility and is demonstrating its expertise in providing different cell chemistries for various areas of application.

From June 18th-20th, the company will be presenting its battery solutions for various applications to trade visitors at the Battery Show: The comprehensive portfolio ranges from battery cells to -modules and -packs. In addition to off-the-shelf solutions, Farasis Energy also offers customized solutions upon request.

In the automotive sector, the high-performance battery technology impresses with its long range and fast-charging capability. With an energy density of 330 Wh/kg, a range of around 1,000 kilometers can be achieved. Customers who place more importance on fast-charging capability benefit from a battery with a customized cell design. This can have an impact on the energy density yet enables the battery to be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in just 15 minutes in fast-charging mode.

Innovation: Modular battery pack for automotive and commercial vehicles

On site, the focus will be on the modular battery pack as a new model that fits seamlessly into the various design requirements of passenger cars and commercial vehicles. It can be used equally in the inner frame packaging for commercial vehicles or the underfloor set-up for off-road applications and impresses with its excellent performance and mechanical behavior. Thanks to state-of-the-art NMC cells, the modular battery has a service life of more than 1,500 full cycles (100 % DOD).

The company is also presenting further battery solutions for the non-automotive sector. The focus here is on material handling and non-road-mobile machinery. The high-performance Atlas module with NMC cell chemistry at its heart, for example, fulfils the extensive requirements for safety and performance standards as well as service life, particularly in the material handling sector.

Aslan Göger, Director Business Development at Farasis Energy Europe: "Our almost 300 patents demonstrate our company’s innovative strength. The Farasis Energy team combines years of expertise and a pioneering spirit to master the challenges of the electrified future. At the Battery Show, we not only want to present ourselves and our broad portfolio to the specialist audience, but also increasingly outgrow our role as a hidden champion."

The Battery Show Europe will take place from June 18th-20th, at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center. Farasis Energy will be presenting its portfolio in Hall 8, Stand A86.
