Deutronic’s Business Unit „Logistics“ offers innovative solutions with decentralized power supplies and DC/DC converters

The new DR series includes state-of-the-art, non-isolated converters specifically designed to maximize efficiency and safety in various applications. These converters combine outstanding efficiency with an integrated freewheeling switch as a protective device. With an impressive power of 500W, they are capable of handling demanding tasks. Another outstanding feature is the possibility of parallel connection, allowing flexible adaptation to different power requirements. The converters are short-circuit and no-load proof and have over-temperature protection, ensuring safety even under extreme conditions. This combination of high performance, safety, and flexibility makes the DR series the ideal solution for a variety of applications.

For specific high-voltage applications, the DVCHx3 series with products DVCH1503 and DVCH3003 is predestined. The trend towards more powerful drive concepts for hybrid and electric vehicles enables the elimination of the alternator by using a DC/DC converter that adjusts the voltage of the high-voltage energy storage to the on-board voltage. With an efficiency of typically 95 percent, combined with a small volume and potential separation of up to 4.25 kV, the series meets the high demands of the industry. The flexible contact cooling concept allows application-specific cooling approaches, and a CAN interface adaptable to customer requirements rounds off the universal application possibilities.

With the transformation of the logistics division towards Logistics 4.0, the demands on logistics systems and components are continuously increasing. The DP500IP series meets these increased demands and impresses with a small volume, vibration-proof design, IP67 protection, and a high temperature range from -25°C to +85°C. This allows decentralized power supplies to be mounted directly next to a conveyor belt motor, for example, instead of in a separate control cabinet. This reduces line losses and prevents reduced motor performance.
