Packaging with 99% Air – and Only 1% Material

AIRWORKS air cushions consist of around 99% air and only 1% material. This means maximum protection with minimal material usage. At the same time, the lightweight nature of the cushions not only reduces packing effort but also lowers transport costs – delivering a particularly efficient and sustainable shipping solution.

Our film range extends from the BasicLine – our classic HDPE film with anti-static properties – to especially sustainable alternatives. Our BioLine is made from renewable raw materials and combines resource efficiency with reliable protection. The range is complemented by the PaperLine, which is paper-based and offers a particularly natural look and feel. As our bestseller, the GreenLine contains more than 30% recycled material, while our latest film, the RecycLine, consists of over 90% recycled content, making it our most sustainable solution for CO₂-reduced packaging.

The films are combined with our high-performance CIRRUS series machines – from compact tabletop models to powerful high-end solutions. The system is further complemented by versatile accessories such as mobile packaging solutions and stationary packing stations with sensor control, intelligent cushion separation systems, and individually adjustable workstations for maximum ergonomics.

Highlights are our latest developments:

• RecycLine: Our RecycLine is made from material with the maximum possible recycled content of >90% and, like all of our films, is 100% recyclable. This helps close the loop, conserve valuable resources and reduce CO₂ emissions – without compromising the proven AIRWORKS quality in protection, weight and handling.

• CIRRUS EasyTear: In addition to our CIRRUS EasyCut cutting module, we have developed the EasyTear as another solution for efficient packaging processes. This intelligent separating module automatically tears air cushion chains to individually adjustable lengths – safely, ergonomically and completely without blades. Thanks to sensor-controlled automation and optional foot pedal operation, the EasyTear integrates seamlessly into any packing station and ensures smooth day-to-day packaging workflows.
