The successful certification of OMNINET Austria GmbH in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 has now been officially confirmed with the audit report from the TÜV Rheinland certification body. This covers both software products and services such as consulting, training, and customized software development.

ISO 27001 is the most important national and international standard in information security management and a globally recognized standard whose successful certification requires all processes relevant to information security to be regulated. This includes the classification of information, a directory of these information assets through to supporting systems (asset management). Furthermore, the successful implementation and use of information security risk management, and the definition of the handling of information security incidents (emergency plan) must be ensured.

ISO 9001 is the most widely used national and international standard in quality management. Successful certification requires proof of a comprehensive quality management system with effective and efficient quality processes, reduced product defects, a strong customer focus, and continuous improvement loops.

Both standards pay particular attention to the creation of training documents and the sensitization of all personnel.
