Emons has several new additions to its service portfolio, which will be presented at LogiMAT.
Emons Spain and Emons Vietnam
Emons is expanding its transport network with new companies and locations in Spain and Vietnam. Its own motivated staff in Pamplona (Navarra/ES) and Ho Chi Minh City are improving performance, the range of services and quality. In Spain, EMONS LOGISTICS ESPAÑA offers freight forwarding and transport services with comprehensive network coverage and first-hand logistics. At Emons Vietnam Co. Ltd. – a subsidiary of Emons Air & Sea GmbH – experienced specialists ensure air and sea freight transport at the highest level of performance.
Emons BEWARE – Batteries, Exceptionals, Waste And Recycling Europe-wide
The new Emons BEWARE division handles specialised transport of batteries (particularly the return of critical and defective batteries), all types of dangerous goods, ammunition, fireworks, and the transport of hazardous waste and recyclable materials. Emons has all the necessary permits, expertise and a container pool for all current sizes of critical batteries to carry out transport safely, in compliance with the law and almost throughout Europe.
Hazardous substance storage & hazardous goods transport
With its strategic investment in the LDB Group, Emons has expanded its range of services to include the specialist areas of hazardous materials storage and transport. At the hazardous materials warehouse in Buehl, which was modernised and expanded in 2025, experts ensure safe storage using state-of-the-art safety technology. A BlmSchG permit provides the legal basis for storing hazardous materials in classes 2A, 2B, 3, 5.1B, 6.1A, 6.1B, 6.1C, 6.1D, 8A, 8B, 10, 11, 12 and 13. The Baden-based logistics professional is also able to store and trade lithium batteries in particular. The second location in Rastatt has a high-bay warehouse with a capacity of 13,000 pallets.
Finding talent, securing the future – counteracting the shortage of skilled workers in logistics
With its ‘Why Not Logistics’ project, Emons is actively combating the shortage of skilled workers in Germany, in line with its motto ‘Find talent, secure the future’. Why Not Logistics brings motivated young people from abroad together with German companies that offer qualified and recognised training positions in logistics as well as other commercial and technical professions. WNL takes care of the entire recruitment process: from aptitude tests, German courses and visas to onboarding and personal support. If you are looking for motivated trainees for warehouse logistics or professional driver training, Why Not Logistics will support you.
Reduce your carbon footprint with HVO100
From 2026, freight forwarding customers will be able to significantly reduce their carbon footprint by using the alternative fuel HVO100 at Emons. Book & Claim enables companies to book CO₂ savings through HVO100 for their own carbon footprint without the fuel being used directly for their transport. This represents added value for the environment and the shipper’s GHG balance.
