This expansion of the management team is a response to the group’s continuous growth and the increasing demand for an integrated go-to-market strategy. The aim is to further expand its market position as a leading provider of software-defined, audit-proof archiving solutions.

Marcus Schiewe will take on overall commercial responsibility, driving the strategic development of the marketing and sales organisation, and the customer-oriented focus of product management and consulting. The internationally experienced sales and marketing expert has more than 20 years of experience in management positions in direct and partner sales, as well as in marketing and consulting. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at censhare GmbH, where he was responsible for revenue-related areas and then implemented the strategic expansion of the partner business across the group. Previously, he held management positions at renowned companies such as SAP, Infor, and GHX Europe. He has extensive expertise in complex software and platform solutions, including ERP, CRM, BI, content management, and cloud portfolios.

"The iTernity Group has been a leading provider of sustainable, legally compliant archiving solutions ‘Made in Germany’ for over two decades. I am looking forward to working with the team to further develop the existing strategic orientation, expand cooperation between sales, marketing, and product management in a targeted manner, and focus consistently on growth potential and customer benefits," said Marcus Schiewe upon joining iTernity.

The iTernity management team considers this appointment to be an important step in the group’s future development. “Marcus Schiewe is a proven expert in setting up scalable go-to-market structures,” says Armin Weißer, Chief Technology Officer of the iTernity Group. “His strategic experience and understanding of market and customer requirements will make a significant contribution to driving the sustainable growth of the iTernity Group.”
