Wildlife Conservation: Tracking with LPWAN technology (Webinar | Online)
Wildlife Conservation: Tracking with LPWAN technology Imagine a connected wildlife reserve where IoT informs the rangers operational decisions to sustainably and efficiently protect wildlife. In this webinar, Lukas Schefer from Volunteering Africa will share insights about his project in Southern Africa, demonstrating how the akenza IoT platform enabled a straightforward IoT solution. This project is a great example of how LPWAN technologies are perfect for supporting asset tracking in remote areas. Thursday, November 11th, 2021, 15:00-15:45 CET Eventdatum: Donnerstag, 11. Enabling Low Power Devices in the Azure IoT Hub with the latest version of akenza.io
Akenza is glad to announce the integration of Microsoft’s Azure IoT Hub as a new Output Connector on the akenza IoT platform. Imagine thousands of deployed IoT devices in an urban environment, vast numbers of devices that transmit and consume small amounts of data. Low Power (LPWAN) connectivity technologies such as LoRaWAN and Sigfox are key connectivity technologies for the rollout of such IoT solutions. To reduce energy consumption and keep the data packets as small as possible, LPWAN devices send their data via a payload encoded in formats that differ from standard data payloads. This complicates their setup and use in the Azure IoT Ecosystem with all its features,…
