BIG appoints Christian „Blizzard“ Chmiel as COO
Another 1.6 icon joins the BIG Family as we officially appoint Christian “Blizzard” Chmiel as our Chief Operating Officer! A name synonymous with German Counter-Strike, Blizzard is someone who needs no introduction to 1.6 fans after his distinguished career in the game. Winning CPL Spain 2005, as well as bringing home nine EPS titles among many others, he now makes his return to esports in an administrative role at BIG. After hanging up the mouse, Blizzard started his studies at the Technical University of Berlin, continuing his career in economic engineering at companies such as Viessmann and AVM. BIG take their OMEN Academy project to the next level
As yet another year of competition starts for Counter-Strike, we are heading into 2022 with a substantial investment in our BIG. OMEN Academy project, now featuring a strong mix of previous and new players! Becoming four years old this year, our Academy project together with OMEN is one of the most successful ones in CS:GO. We look to continue that success as we welcome back one of the greatest talents in Germany: Karim "Krimbo" Moussa. Joining him from our 2021 line-up is Nico "Aqua" Kembitzky and David "prosus" Hesse. BIG und Coinbase veranstalten Community-Event
Die Berliner Esports Organisation BIG veranstaltet in Kooperation mit coinbase, einer der weltweit führenden globalen Handelsplattform für Kryptowährungen, ein hochdotiertes Event für die CS:GO Community mit einem Preispool in Höhe von 20.000 € in Bitcoin. Wechselpilot startet Partnerschaft mit Berlin International Gaming
