Hermann Renz, a living legend in refrigeration, finally retires
On 31 March 2021, Hermann Renz had his last working day at BITZER in Rottenburg, Germany. In a small group, Corona-compliant and yet warmly, Mr Renz was said goodbye to by his closest and long-standing colleagues. In five decades and beyond his official start of retirement, Hermann Renz has characterised the way in which BITZER provides technical support and information to its customers. During the years as Director Application Engineering and Product Performance, he developed and held countless trainings on compressor and system technology, oil, refrigerant retrofit and much more. Am 31. März 2021 hatte Hermann Renz seinen letzten Arbeitstag bei BITZER in Rottenburg. In kleiner Runde, Corona-regelkonform und trotzdem herzlich wurde Herr Renz von seinen engsten und langjährigen Kolleginnen und Kollegen verabschiedet. In fünf Jahrzehnten und über seinen offiziellen Start des Ruhestandes hinaus prägte Hermann Renz die Art und Weise, wie BITZER seine Kunden technisch unterstützt und informiert. In den Jahren als Direktor Anwendungstechnik und Sonderprojekte entwickelte und hielt er unzählige Trainings und Seminare über Verdichter- und Systemtechnologien, Öl, Kältemittelumstellungen und vieles mehr.
