First recipients of the Heilbronn Universities‘ Elite Sports Scholarship presented
During a festive welcome dinner at the Campus Garden restaurant, 18 students were officially presented as the first recipients of the new Elite Sports Scholarship offered by the Heilbronn Universities. Among them are three students from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) at Campus Heilbronn. Thanks to the commitment of the Dieter Schwarz Foundation, student athletes at DHBW Heilbronn, Heilbronn University, the DHBW Center for Advanced Studies, and TUM Campus Heilbronn will receive financial and organizational support to help them balance their studies and top-level sports. Erster Jahrgang des Spitzensport-Stipendiums der Heilbronner Hochschulen vorgestellt
Im Rahmen eines feierlichen Begrüßungsdinners im Restaurant Campus Garden wurden 18 Studierende als erste Stipendiatinnen und Stipendiaten des neuen Spitzensport-Stipendiums der Heilbronner Hochschulen offiziell vorgestellt. Darunter sind auch drei Studierende der Technischen Universität München (TUM) am Campus Heilbronn. Dank des Engagements der Dieter Schwarz Stiftung können die studierenden Leistungssportlerinnen und -sportlern der DHBW Heilbronn, der Hochschule Heilbronn, des DHBW Center for Advanced Studies und des TUM Campus Heilbronn finanziell und organisatorisch in der Vereinbarkeit von Studium und Spitzensport unterstützt werden. New endowed professorship for Controlling and AI
The Technical University of Munich (TUM) is establishing a new professorship for Controlling and AI with the support of the Péter Horváth Foundation. The foundation will fund research and teaching with three million euros. Prof. Stefan Wagner from TUM Campus Heilbronn has developed learning software and a chatbot and now wants to use Large Language Models to provide personalized support for students. The Quantum Leap follows AI
Three students at TUM Campus Heilbronn have been working on a project study focusing on this new technology, particularly in relation to supply chains: experimenting and playing with the newly developed “Quantum GPT”. Guided and encouraged by Professor David Wuttke, bachelor’s and master’s students Mokhina Dustmurodova, Sude Dübek, and Bhavya Beegodhur developed a GPT that can answer fundamental questions and also helps select the right algorithms for supply chain problems. The experts and young academics agree on one thing: “After the AI boom, there will be a quantum leap. Actually, it is already taking its turn,” says Mokhina. Drei Studentinnen des TUM Campus Heilbronn haben sich im Rahmen einer Projektstudie mit der neuen Technologie insbesondere im Zusammenhang mit Supply Chains beschäftigt: Experimentieren und Spielen mit dem neu entwickelten „Quantum GPT“. Angeleitet und ermutigt von Professor David Wuttke entwickelten die Bachelor- und Masterstudentinnen Mokhina Dustmurodova, Sude Dübek und Bhavya Beegodhur einen GPT, der grundlegende Fragen beantworten kann, aber auch bei der Auswahl von Algorithmen für optimale Lieferketten hilft.
