Liquid Sun and GIG Karasek announce collaboration to produce synthetic fuels from CO2
The Finnish company Liquid Sun – that describe themselves as ‚The carbon recoding companyTM‚ – and GIG Karasek are pooling their expertise to intensify both their efforts towards CO2 valorization. Both companies focus on LTE (low-temperature electrolyzer) technology for the electrochemical conversion of carbon dioxide into chemicals and fuels. Liquid Sun – based in Tampere, Finland – was founded in 2022 following a research project at the Tampere University and focuses on the production of innovative fuels and chemicals that can be manufactured without the use of fossil fuels. Das finnische Unternehmen Liquid Sun, das sich selbst auch als „The carbon recoding companyTM“ bezeichnet, und GIG Karasek bündeln ihre Expertise, um ihr beiderseitiges Bestreben im Bereich der CO2 Valorisierung zu intensivieren. Beide Unternehmen fokussieren auf die sogenannte LTE- (Low-Temperature Electrolyzer) Technologie zur elektrochemischen Umwandlung von Kohlendioxid in Chemikalien und Treibstoffe. GIG Karasek supplies evaporation plant for one of the largest biomethane plants in Europe
revis bioenergy GmbH has commissioned GIG Karasek with the EPC delivery of a new plant for the evaporation of liquid fermentation residues from biomass for its plant in Friesoythe, Germany. The plant is planned to be put into operation in the summer of 2024. One of the largest and most state-of-the-art biomethane plants in Europe has been under construction in the district of Cloppenburg since mid-2022. As of the first quarter of 2024, nordfuel GmbH is the operator of a flagship plant in terms of capacity, sustainability, and regionality. GIG Karasek liefert Eindampfanlage für eine der größten Biomethananlagen Europas
revis bioenergy GmbH hat GIG Karasek mit der EPC-Lieferung einer neuen Anlage zur Verdampfung von flüssigen Gärresten aus Biomasse für das Werk in Friesoythe, Deutschland beauftragt. Die Inbetriebnahme ist für Sommer 2024 geplant. Seit Mitte 2022 entsteht im Kreis Cloppenburg eine der größten und modernsten Biomethananlagen Europas. Mit dem ersten Quartal 2024 ist die nordfuel GmbH Betreiber einer Vorzeigeanlage was Kapazität, Nachhaltigkeit und Regionalität betrifft. Im Werk in Friesoythe werden jährlich bis zu einer Million Tonnen an überschüssiger Biomasse in Form von Gülle und Mist aus den landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben der Region verwertet. Das Management von GIG Karasek freut sich bekannt geben zu können, dass selbst in diesen außergewöhnlichen Zeiten schon über 100.000 Arbeitsstunden ohne Zwischenfälle beim Projekt Vulindlela(Südafrika) geleistet wurden. Dies ist nur möglich, dank umsichtiger Unterstützung und unermüdlichem Engagement des gesamten Projektteams von Sappi Südafrika, die hier bisher insgesamt über 3 Millionen unfallfreie Stunden absolvierten. Gerade aufgrund der stark frequentierten Baustelle und der Auswirkungen der COVID-19 Pandemie kann jeder einzelne Projektbeteiligte auf diese positive Zwischenbilanz besonders stolz sein.
