Optical characterization of IR emitters
At LASER WoP 2023, Instrument Systems will be presenting its extensive test portfolio for IR emitters and VCSELs. New product developments in the CAS series of spectroradiometers and VTC cameras cater for the rapidly growing market for VCSEL production for the short-wave infrared range from 780 to 1700 nm. Compared to its predecessor, the new CAS 140D IR offers a significantly improved performance in signal sensitivity, stray light suppression and electronics. The VTC 4000 near-field camera enables polarization-controlled characterization of the individual emitters of a VCSEL array by the one-shot process. Goniometrische Charakterisierung von Curved Displays
Auf der diesjährigen Display Week, die vom 21.-26. Mai 2023 im Los Angeles Convention Center stattfindet, launcht Instrument Systems sein neuestes Goniometer der DMS-Serie. Das DMS 904 ist auf die optische Charakterisierung von großen und auch Curved Displays zugeschnitten. Basierend auf dem bewährten DMS-Bewegungskonzept besitzt es sieben motorisierte Achsen zur automatischen Vermessung. Die zusätzliche X-Achse erlaubt dezentrale, winkelabhängige Messungen für Displays bis zu einer Breite von 1,8 m. Die vergrößerte Temperierkammer ermöglicht Bewegungen während des Messvorgangs in X- und Z-Richtung und verfügt über einen Innenraum von 160 x 60 x 20 cm. Goniometric characterization of curved displays
At this year’s Display Week, due to take place at Los Angeles Convention Center from 21–26 May 2023, Instrument Systems will be launching its latest DMS series of goniometers. The DMS 904 was designed for the optical characterization of large and curved displays. Based on the proven DMS movement methodology, it has seven motorized axes for automatic measurement. The additional X-axis permits decentralized, angle-dependent measurements for displays up to a width of 1.8 m. The enlarged temperature control chamber enables movements during the measurement process in X- and Z-direction and has an interior space of 160 x 60 x 20 cm. Change in Management at Instrument Systems
Yasumasa Kuboyama will be taking over the position of the Managing Director from Tsutomu Ogasawara. Together with CEO Dr. Markus Ehbrecht he will form the new Instrument Systems management team. In his new role, for the next years he will continue to promote the strong connection between Konica Minolta and Instrument Systems.
