Demand for renewable energy solutions remains strong. Nevertheless, Solarwatt GmbH was compelled to make the strategic decision to discontinue its photovoltaic (PV) module and battery production at its Dresden site. The company entrusted Maynards Europe with the sale of its cutting-edge production facilities, which had only been commissioned in 2021. Solarwatt had already halted production of solar modules and battery storage systems at the Dresden site in late summer 2024.
