Das Vorhaben des deutsch-litauischen Artilleriewerks in Baisogala schreitet weiter voran. Am 20. Dezember 2024 unterzeichneten Vertreter des deutschen Technologieunternehmens Rheinmetall, des litauischen Energieübertragungs- und -austauschkonzerns EPSO-G, des EPSO-G-Unternehmens EPSO-G Invest und des litauischen Unternehmens Giraitės ginkluotės gamykla eine Partnerschaftsvereinbarung. Diese regelt den Erwerb von Anteilen am Unternehmen Rheinmetall Defence Lietuva, welches die Produktionsstätte für 155-mm-Artilleriegeschosse errichten wird. Nachschub für die Flugabwehr: Rheinmetall liefert 35mm-Gepardmunition an die Ukraine
Das Verteidigungsministerium der Ukraine hat Rheinmetall damit beauftragt, zusätzliche 35mm-Munition für den Flugabwehrkanonenpanzer Gepard zu liefern. Der neuerliche Auftrag umfasst 180.000 Schuss HEI-T-Munition (High Explosive Incendiary with Tracer). Er wurde im Dezember 2024 verbucht. Der Auftragswert liegt im hohen zweistelligen MioEUR-Bereich. Finanziert wird die Bestellung durch Deutschland. Im Februar 2023 bereits erhielt Rheinmetall den Auftrag, 300.000 Schuss Gepard-Munition an die Ukraine zu liefern. Mit der bestellten Munition lassen sich unterschiedliche Ziele in der Luft, wie Drohnen, wirkungsvoll bekämpfen. Produziert wird sie am Rheinmetall-Standort Unterlüß, Niedersachsen. Replenishment for air defence: Rheinmetall delivers 35mm-ammunition for anti-aircraft gun Gepard to Ukraine
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has commissioned Rheinmetall to deliver additional 35mm ammunition for the Gepard anti-aircraft gun. The new order comprises 180,000 rounds of HEI-T ammunition (High Explosive Incendiary with Tracer) and was booked in December of 2024. The order value is in the high double-digit million euro range and is being funded by Germany. Already in February of 2023, Rheinmetall received an order to supply 300,000 rounds of Gepard ammunition to Ukraine. The ordered ammunition can be used to effectively re-fight various airborne targets, such as drones. It will be produced at Rheinmetall’s site in Unterlüß. Rheinmetall hat die technischen Voraussetzungen für einen vernetzten Übungs- und Ausbildungsbetrieb der Bundeswehr unter Einbindung der Kräfte in Litauen erfolgreich getestet. Die Grundlage bildete die bereits eingeführte und bewährte Live-Simulationstechnik aus dem Gefechtsübungszentrum Heer der Bundeswehr in Letzlingen/ Altmark. Der Konzern hat dabei im Auftrag der Bundeswehr mit seinem Mobile Combat Training Center (MCTC) „Legatus“ einen erfolgreichen Test der Daten- und Funkverbindungen zwischen den beiden Ländern durchgeführt. Dabei kamen mobile Containerlösungen in Litauen wie in Deutschland zum Einsatz. Die Simulationstechnologien im MCTC ermöglichen es, komplexe Einsatzszenarien realistisch darzustellen. Rheinmetall has successfully tested the technical requirements for interconnected training and exercise operations of the German Bundeswehr involving its forces in Lithuania. The basis for this was the already established and validated live simulation-technology from the Army Combat Training Center in Letzlingen/ Altmark. The Group carried out a successful test of the data and radio transmission connections between the two countries on behalf of the Bundeswehr with its Mobile Combat Training Center (MCTC) “Legatus”. Digitalizing Land Forces: Rheinmetall receives largescale order from Bundeswehr
In cooperation with its partner company blackned, Rheinmetall has received a large-scale order for a major project within the program “Digitalization of landbased operations” (D-LBO) by the German Bundeswehr, worth €1.2bn gross. The order includes the integration of IT-systems for all vehicle and platform-systems of the land forces. Rheinmetall accounts for around €730m gross of the contract volume. The remaining share of around €470m goes to blackned GmbH. heinmetall hat gemeinsam mit dem Unternehmen blackned im Großvorhaben „Digitalisierung Landbasierte Operationen“ (D-LBO) der Bundeswehr einen Auftrag im Wert von rund 1,2 MrdEUR brutto gewonnen. Der Auftrag beinhaltet die Integration der IT-Systeme aller Fahrzeug- und Plattformsysteme der Landstreitkräfte. Vom Vertragsvolumen entfallen rund 730 MioEUR brutto auf Rheinmetall. Der verbleibende Anteil in Höhe von rund 470 MioEUR entfällt auf die blackned GmbH. Der entsprechende Beschaffungsvertrag wurde nun von Vertretern des Bundesamts für Ausrüstung, Informationstechnik und Nutzung der Bundeswehr (BAAINBw) und der Arbeitsgemeinschaft ISI (ArGe IT-Systemintegration) unterzeichnet, die von den Firmen blackned GmbH und Rheinmetall Electronics GmbH gebildet wird.
