NDT Service AS is now selling Rohmann eddy current testing instruments in Norway

Since it was established in 1977, the family-owned company situated in Frankenthal in the Palatinate in southwestern Germany, has been dedicated to the development and manufacture of eddy current testing instruments and systems for non-destructive materials testing. The worldwide network of Rohmann agencies, now with more than 30 representatives, extends from Canada to South Africa and Australia.

Starting from August 2021, Rohmann’s Norwegian customers are now being served by NDT‑Service AS. The company owner Harald Grøttem has made a name for himself in recent years with a wide   range of products and services for the Norwegian NDT market. NDT-Service is situated in Sandness, not far from Stavanger, and supplies appliances and operating materials for all types of NDT meth- ods.

Rohmann testing technology is used for quality assurance in many different industries, which include amongst others the metal and metal processing industries, the aviation and automotive industries and the railway and renewable energy sectors.

Rohmann intends to further open up the Norwegian market with the local support of Mr Grøttem and to present its advanced eddy current testing technology and the various application possibilities at joint trade fair presentations.
