The Hyperloop, and thus the future, is getting closer – thanks to raw materials

.
Even though it will be years before commercial use, the opening of the Hyperloop test track near Munich is a milestone.

Travel at speeds of up to 1,000 kilometers per hour, similar to a train, is no longer a mere vision of the future from the realm of science fiction. Even if the test track is only 24 meters long, it is a sensation. The Technical University of Munich is involved. After Elon Musk had the idea of the Hyperloop and organized a competition worldwide years ago, the Bavarian students had won. Elon Musk is no longer involved today. A maglev system is behind the Hyperloop. There is almost a vacuum in the airtight concrete tube. This allows the capsule to be driven magnetically. The Berlin-Paris route could be covered in about an hour. The necessary energy could perhaps one day come from solar cells located on the tube.

For some time now, China has been working on a magnetic levitation train ("Red Rail") that does not need electricity for its magnets. Rare earths are needed to produce permanent magnets. In addition to rare earths, the raw materials for modern technologies are lithium for electromobility. The future also needs copper and nickel.

Gama Explorationshttps://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/gama-explorations-inc/ -, for example, sees itself as part of the green energy revolution with its projects in Quebec, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories. On the way to a greener future, but with an adequate supply of energy, nuclear power is indispensable. Without it, the energy mix is not complete.

Uranium companies such as Consolidated Uraniumhttps://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/consolidated-uranium-inc/ – work for this. The company owns the necessary uranium in its projects in Australia, Argentina, Canada and the USA.
