World first: SMOX® – the smart box – Innovation in empty container logistics

The SMOX® container (EP patent granted) is a rigid, nestable stacking container with Euro standard dimensions (600 x 400 mm). For storage or transport the empty SMOX® containers are simply turned upside down and stacked inside each other, or “nested” as it is known in technical jargon.

When stacked in an empty state, SMOX® containers reduce their volume by approx. 75%. This means that only about a quarter of the transport capacity is required compared to conventional rigid, non-nestable transport containers. This saves valuable transport capacity in reusable logistics and thus leads to significant cost savings in transport and warehousing. SMOX® – the sustainable box, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
