TÜV SÜD is a new member of the German Association for negative Emissions (DVNE)

Both technically and politically, the view that CDR should be integrated into broader climate strategies is gaining ground. At the same time, demands are being made regarding scientific evaluation, comparability, and societal acceptance. Market participants aim to address these challenges collectively through the DVNE.

Dr. Céline Bilolo, Chief Sustainability Officer and Head of the Sustainability Business Unit at TÜV SÜD, explains: “CO₂ removal can only be implemented on a large scale if stakeholders have confidence in the methods, technologies, and standards. By joining the DVNE, we are contributing our expertise and collaborating with partners across the entire ecosystem to promote high-quality CO₂ removal in Germany and Europe.”
