Both mineral resources and political conditions were evaluated. Finland ranked first as the world’s leading jurisdiction for investment this time. Nevada came in second, and Alaska took third place. The rest of the top ten are Wyoming, Arizona, Sweden, Saskatchewan, Newfoundland and Labrador, Guyana, and Norway. The Fraser Institute conducted its survey worldwide from August to mid-December. A total of 2,289 exploration, development, and other mining-related companies were surveyed, and 82 jurisdictions were evaluated. According to the survey, the weakest candidates included Ethiopia, Suriname, Niger, Nova Scotia, Mozambique, Madagascar, Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, Congo, Guinea, and Minnesota.

Quebec, which had been in the top ten for four years in a row, slipped to 22nd place this time. The reasons were political factors and mineral resources. British Columbia, Manitoba, and Yukon were among the ten best jurisdictions in terms of mineral resources. In the overall ranking, two Canadian regions, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland and Labrador, made it into the top ten.

Saskatchewan, for example, is home to IsoEnergyhttps://www.commodity-tv.com/play/isoenergy-new-drill-targets-at-hurricane-and-further-preparation-for-restart-of-tony-m/ -, which has high-grade uranium properties. The company also has uranium deposits in Australia, Argentina, and the US.

Gold producer Equinox Goldhttps://www.commodity-tv.com/play/equinox-gold-post-merger-growth-and-re-rating-potential-explained/ – has projects in Nevada, Newfoundland and Labrador, and other regions. The company has set itself the goal of producing more than one million ounces of gold per year within a few years.
