Modular course content for in-house training in the field of bonding
Training requirements in companies vary depending on their business model, working methods, manufacturing processes, and current projects. Industry-oriented training providers such as the Plastics Center SKZ have therefore been experiencing increasing demand for company-specific training courses for multiple employees for several years. SKZ conducts in-house training courses in Germany and abroad, where employees are trained directly on the respective machines and practical issues are addressed.
These training courses are tailored to the respective level of knowledge and areas of activity of the participants. The individual design usually requires detailed coordination between the company and the SKZ with regard to the content, duration, and scope of the training. To simplify this coordination process, modular training content for the field of adhesive technology has now been introduced.
The modular training courses are based on frequently requested topics and are presented on the SKZ website in a structured manner according to content and duration. Topics covered include adhesive tapes and adhesives, various substrates, cleaning and pretreatment processes, and aspects of aging testing. Companies can select relevant topic blocks on this basis and request them directly or obtain additional advice if required.
Michael Heilig, group leader for bonding and surface technology at SKZ, explains: “The level of knowledge and the resulting training needs vary significantly in the field of bonding. At the same time, certain topics regularly arise in varying combinations. The modular structure is designed to enable these contents to be compiled in a targeted manner. Individual inquiries and further consultations remain possible.”
