Mobile Robotics: Stäubli Celebrates Successful Launch of the FL1500 and Introduces New Mast Variant
Since its introduction in 2025, the FL1500 has already been integrated into many practical applications. A leading automotive manufacturer has deployed the vehicle across several of its facilities in Germany and the USA to automate key material flow processes. Other FL1500 models, available for order since October 1, 2025, are slated for delivery in Q1 2026 and ready for broad implementation.
Stäubli is now significantly expanding the FL1500’s range of applications with a new duplex mast variant. Lift heights exceeding three meters enable access to taller rack systems, optimizing storage density—a crucial factor for companies aiming to maximize space efficiency. Despite the added reach, the FL1500 retains its compact design, making it ideal for environments with space constraints.
The combination of high flexibility, automated control, and optimized space usage makes Stäubli’s autonomous forklift a pioneering solution for the logistics market, where efficiency and scalability are increasingly critical.
Stäubli’s entire vehicle series, including the FL1500, follows the "built to last" principle. Robust, industrial-grade components and a secured supply chain form the foundation for reliability. This is complemented by a maintenance-friendly design: all main components are easily accessible, minimizing service time and keeping vehicle availability high.
Comprehensive Automation Solutions
By integrating mobile robots into its comprehensive portfolio of industrial six-axis and SCARA robots, Stäubli has positioned itself as a complete automation solution provider. Along with the FL1500, Stäubli will also feature its PF3 mobile robot platform and Sterimove, a mobile robot designed for use in sterile production environments, at LogiMAT.
- PF3: Compact mobile platform with a load capacity of three tons, recognized with the Red Dot Design Award.
- Sterimove: World’s first mobile robot for GMP classes A/B/C/D—a major innovation for the pharmaceutical industry.
