“MinProXT – Mineral Prospectivity & Exploration Targeting” Webinar 1st – 3rd November 2022
After its successful introduction and first hosting by Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) in 2021, the second edition of the “Mineral Prospectivity and Exploration Targeting (MinProXT)” webinar is being organized in 2022 by Beak Consultants GmbH in co-operation with Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) and Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT). The MinProXT webinar is intended to be continued as yearly webinar with alternating hosting and organizing partners, in the following years, too. The webinar will take place in the first week of November 2022 as hybrid event from 1st to 3rd November 2022 – with the possibility to participate online as well as on-site in Freiberg/ Germany. Nach der erfolgreichen Einführung und erstmaligen Ausrichtung durch den Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) im Jahr 2021 wird die zweite Auflage des Webinars „Mineral Prospectivity and Exploration Targeting (MinProXT)“ im Jahr 2022 von der Beak Consultants GmbH in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) und dem Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT) organisiert. Das MinProXT-Webinar soll als jährliches Webinar mit wechselnden Gastgebern und Veranstaltern auch in den kommenden Jahren fortgesetzt werden. EIS – Exploration Information System: EU project delves into a new information system for exploring critical raw materials
The EIS project will play a supporting role in the implementation of the European Green Deal and Europe’s long-term self-sufficiency of critical raw materials. The Exploration Information System project, in short EIS, had its official kick-off meeting from 7th to 9th June 2022 in Rovaniemi (Finland). As part of the Horizon Europe program, EIS will play a critical role in finding new sources of critical raw materials for the EU’s transitioning economy by developing innovative exploration concepts and data analysis tools. EIS – Explorations-Informations-System: EU-Projekt entwickelt ein neues Informationssystem für die Erkundung kritischer Rohstoffe
Das EIS-Projekt wird eine unterstützende Rolle bei der Umsetzung des European Green Deal und der langfristigen Selbstversorgung Europas mit kritischen Rohstoffen spielen. Die offizielle Startveranstaltung des Exploration Information System-Projektes, kurz EIS, fand vom 7. bis 9. Juni 2022 in Rovaniemi (Finnland) statt. Als Teil des Horizont Europa-Programmes wird EIS mit der Entwicklung innovativer Rohstofferkundungskonzepte und Datenanalysewerkzeuge eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Suche nach neuen Quellen für kritische Rohstoffe für die sich wandelnde Wirtschaft der EU spielen. As already reported on July 15, 2021, the website of the platform for the social responsibility of the mining sector in Cameroon is online (beta version) and now offers new modules and functionalities. The purpose of the Questions and Complaints (Q&C) module is to collect and list questions and complaints from the various stakeholders of the mining sector as well as the public, and forward them to the PRECASEM / MINMIDT specialists who will respond or forward the Q&C to the relevant local authorities. Wie bereits am 15. Juli 2021 berichtet, ist die Webseite der Plattform zur sozialen Verantwortung des Bergbausektors in Kamerun online (Beta-Version) und bietet nun neue Module und Funktionalitäten. Der Zweck des Frage- und Beschwerdemoduls (Q&A) besteht darin, Fragen und Beschwerden der verschiedenen Akteure im Bergbausektor sowie der Öffentlichkeit zu sammeln und aufzulisten und sie an die PRECASEM-/MINMIDT-Spezialisten weiterzuleiten, die eine Antwort geben oder die Fragen und Beschwerden an die zuständigen lokalen Behörden weiterleiten.
