Groundbreaking ceremony for the new high-tech fab in Dresden
Construction work on the Jenoptik Group’s new high-tech fab at Dresden Airport Park began today, September 6, 2022, with a groundbreaking ceremony attended by Saxony’s Minister-President Michael Kretschmer and Mayor Stephan Kühn, Dresden’s Councillor for Urban Development, Construction, Transport and Real Estate. The two politicians ceremonially broke ground together with Jenoptik Executive Board members Stefan Traeger and Hans-Dieter Schumacher and other representatives of the photonics group. Mit dem Spatenstich am heutigen 6. September 2022 starteten unter dem Beisein von Sachsens Ministerpräsident Michael Kretschmer sowie Bürgermeister Stephan Kühn, Dresdens Beigeordneten für Stadtentwicklung, Bau, Verkehr und Liegenschaften, die Bauarbeiten für die neue Hightech-Fabrik (Fab) des Jenoptik-Konzerns im Airportpark Dresden. Prognose für 2022 angehoben: Umsatzziel jetzt zwischen 930 und 960 Mio Euro, EBITDA-Marge soll auf 18,0 bis 18,5 Prozent zulegen. Umsatz stieg im 1. Halbjahr um 35,8 Prozent auf 447,2 Mio Euro EBITDA-Marge lag im 2. Finanzvorstand Hans-Dieter Schumacher (58) hat dem Aufsichtsrat mitgeteilt, dass er aus persönlichen Gründen für eine weitere Amtszeit nach Auslaufen seines derzeitigen Vorstandsvertrags im März 2023 nicht zur Verfügung steht. Hans-Dieter Schumacher kam am 1. April 2015 als Finanzvorstand zur JENOPTIK AG. Zuvor war er von 2011 bis 2015 Finanzvorstand der börsennotierten HOMAG Group AG sowie von 2003 bis 2010 CFO des Baustoffherstellers Sto AG. Nach dann acht erfolgreichen Jahren bei Jenoptik möchte er sich neuen Aufgaben außerhalb des Jenoptik-Konzerns zuwenden.
