On the basis of the approval by the German Federal Cartel Office, KNDS Deutschland, KNDS France, Rheinmetall Landsysteme and Thales legally incorporated the ‘MGCS Project Company GmbH (MPC)’ on 10 April 2025 in Cologne. Nach der Genehmigung durch das Bundeskartellamt haben KNDS Deutschland, KNDS France, Rheinmetall Landsysteme und Thales am 10. April 2025 in Köln die „MGCS Project Company GmbH (MPC)“ gegründet. Als Geschäftsführer wurde Herr Dipl. Ing. Dipl. Wirt. Ing. und Oberst i.G. d.R. Stefan Gramolla bestellt. Die Gründung der Gesellschaft markiert einen weiteren wesentlichen Schritt im MGCS Projekt. Portfolio expansion: Rheinmetall acquires Stascheit ammunition recovery company
The Düsseldorf based Technology Corporation Rheinmetall sealed the contract for acquiring the ammunition detection and recovery company Stascheit GmbH in Gardelegen/Saxony-Anhalt. In the future, the company will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rheinmetall Project Solutions GmbH within the Rheinmetall Group. The integration of Stascheit GmbH rounds off the comprehensive product port¬folio of Rheinmetall Project Solutions GmbH in the field of explosive ordnance disposal. Rheinmetall is aiming for an annual turnover of around €80 million in the medium term from the purchase. The two companies have already successfully completed numerous projects together. Der Düsseldorfer Technologiekonzern Rheinmetall übernimmt das Munitionsdetektions- und Bergungsunternehmen Stascheit GmbH in Gardelegen/Sachsen-Anhalt. Ein Kauf- und Abtretungsvertrag zum Erwerb des Unternehmens wurde jetzt geschlossen. Als Teil der Rheinmetall Project Solutions GmbH wird das Unternehmen eine 100%-Tochter des Rheinmetall Konzerns sein. Mit der Integration der Stascheit GmbH wird das Produktportfolio der Rheinmetall Project Solutions GmbH im Bereich der Kampfmittelbergung umfassend abgerundet. Rheinmetall strebt für den Zukauf mittelfristig einen jährlichen Umsatz in der Größenordnung von rund 80 MioEUR an. Die Rheinmetall AG übernimmt die Hagedorn-NC GmbH mit Hauptsitz im niedersächsischen Osnabrück. In Lingen an der Ems fertigt das Traditionsunternehmen seit über 100 Jahren industrielle Nitrocellulose für zivile Anwendungen. Im Zuge der Übernahme sollen relevante Teile der Produktion auf militärische Anwendungen umgestellt wer den. Durch den Zukauf stärkt der Düsseldorfer Technologiekonzern seine Kapazitäten zur Herstellung von Treibladungen für alle Munitionsarten, insbesondere für 155mm- Artilleriemunition. Ein entsprechender Kaufvertrag wurde nun zwischen Rheinmetall und der Hagedorn AG, Osnabrück, als Verkäuferin geschlossen. Rheinmetall takes over Hagedorn-NC GmbH, securing the supply chain for propellant production
This long-established company has been producing industrial nitrocellulose for civilian applications in Lingen an der Ems for over 100 years. In the course of the takeover, relevant parts of the production are to be converted to military applications. The acquisition enables the Düsseldorf-based technology group to strengthen its manufacturing capacity for propellants for all types of ammunition, especially for 155mm artillery ammunition. A corresponding purchase agreement has now been concluded between Rheinmetall and Hagedorn AG, Osnabrück, as the seller. The acquisition is subject to antitrust approval by the relevant authorities.
