Rheinmetall gewinnt Auftrag im mittleren zweistelligen MioEUR-Bereich für Mörsermunition
Ein internationaler NATO-Kunde hat den Düsseldorfer Technologiekonzern Rheinmetall mit der Fertigung von Mörsergranaten für die Streitkräfte des NATO-Partners beauftragt. Der Gesamtwert der Beauftragung liegt im mittleren zweistelligen MioEUR-Bereich und wurde mit Beginn des dritten Quartals 2024 als Auftragseingang eingebucht. Die Bestellung umfasst eine sechsstellige Anzahl Mörsergranaten verschiedener Typen, die allesamt von der Rheinmetall Expal Munitions S.A.U. in Spanien hergestellt werden. Der Auftrag beinhaltet zudem verschiedene Zusatzleistungen im Rahmen der Produkteinführung. Die Auslieferung der Munition soll im Sommer 2025 beginnen und im Sommer 2026 abgeschlossen sein. Rheinmetall wins mid-double-digit million euro order for mortar ammunition for international NATO customer
An international NATO customer has placed an order with Düsseldorf-based technology group Rheinmetall for the production of mortar shells for the NATO partner’s armed forces. The value of the order, which was booked at the beginning of the third quarter of 2024, corresponds to a volume in the mid double-digit million euro range. In total, a six-digit number of mortar shells of various types will be manufactured by Rheinmetall Expal Munitions S.A.U., Spain. Laserwaffen: Rheinmetall und MBDA Deutschland schließen Kooperationsvertrag
Rheinmetall und MBDA Deutschland haben entschieden, ihre erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit im Laserwaffenbereich fortzuführen. Ziel ist es, ein gemeinsames maritimes Produkt auf den Markt zu bringen, das insbesondere in der Drohnenabwehr von Schiffen neue Möglichkeiten eröffnet. Beide Firmen sind überzeugt, mit ihren komplementären Fähigkeiten im Bereich der Laserwaffentechnologie erfolgreich in eine Entwicklung eines militärischen Laserwaffensystems gehen zu können. Die Unternehmen haben nun einen entsprechenden Kooperationsvertrag geschlossen. Zuletzt war ein Laserwaffendemonstrator von Rheinmetall und MBDA von Juni 2022 bis September 2023 auf der Fregatte 124 „Sachsen" der deutschen Marine integriert. Laser weapons: Rheinmetall and MBDA Germany sign cooperation agreement
Rheinmetall and MBDA Deutschland have decided to continue their successful cooperation in the field of laser weapons. The aim is to bring a joint maritime product to the market within the next five to six years, which opens up new possibilities, particularly in relation to drone defence on ships. Both companies are convinced that their complementary skills in the field of laser weapon technology will enable them to successfully develop a military laser weapon system. The companies have now concluded a corresponding cooperation agreement.
