Rheinmetall ROSY-Schnellnebelsysteme für die Wechsellader-LKW der Bundeswehr
Die Wechsellader-LKW der Bundeswehr erhalten das Schnellnebelschutzsystem ROSY von Rheinmetall. Insgesamt werden in einem ersten Schritt 540 Systeme von der Rheinmetall Waffe Munition an die Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles, den Hersteller der Fahrzeuge, ausgeliefert. Ein ROSY-System besteht aus zwei Werfern mit zwei Magazinen, Schnellbefestigung und dem Bediengerät. Mit dieser bisher größten ROSY-Auslieferung kann sich das Schnellnebelschutzsystem weiter bei NATO-Streitkräften etablieren. The German Bundeswehr’s fleet of swap-body trucks is to be equipped with Rheinmetall’s ROSY rapid smoke/obscurant system. As a first step, Rheinmetall Waffe Munition will be supplying a total of 540 systems to Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles, the company that manufactures the trucks. Each ROSY system consists of two launchers with two magazines, a quick fastener and a control device. The biggest ROSY order yet, it marks a new milestone in the system’s adoption by NATO armed forces. Pressing ahead with its hydrogen strategy, Rheinmetall is now taking part in a national hydrogen and fuel cell initiative with financial backing from the German federal government and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Rheinmetall is an industrial partner of the research and development consortium Centre for Fuel Cell Technology, or ZBT, in Duisburg. Known for its hydrogen acumen, the ZBT is one of four financially backed innovation and technology centres (ITZ) for hydrogen technology selected in Germany. Rheinmetall treibt die Wasserstoffstrategie des Unternehmens weiter voran und ist jetzt auch Teil der vom Bund und vom Land Nordrhein-Westfalen finanziell unterstützten nationalen Wasserstoff- und Brennstoffzelleninitiative. Rheinmetall ist industrieller Partner des Forschungs- und Entwicklungskonsortiums des in Punkto Wasserstoff renommierten Zentrums für Brennstoffzellen Technik (ZBT) in Duisburg, das als eines von vier in Deutschland geförderten Innovations- und Technologiezentren für Wasserstofftechnologie (ITZ) ausgewählt wurde.
