Wochenrückblick KW04-2022 – Was für eine Achterbahnfahrt!
In der vergangenen Woche ging es wieder hoch her an den Aktienmärkten. Während der DAX rund 1,8 % abgeben musste, legten die US-Indizes Dow Jones und Nasdaq100 rund 1,3 % respektive rund 0,1 % zu. Die Finanzmärkte sackten zum Wochenbeginn aufgrund der befürchteten Straffung der Geldpolitik stark ab, konnten im Wochenverlauf jedoch wieder etwas hinzugewinnen. Die US-Notenbank kündigte nämlich für März den ersten Zinsschritt an. Die Marktteilnehmer werden zunehmend nervös, was sich an der deutlich steigenden Volatilität ablesen lässt. Erst die Vorlage solider Geschäftszahlen mehrerer Marktgiganten konnte die Investoren wieder etwas beruhigen und die Indizes zum Wochenende hin wieder etwas ansteigen lassen. Even in mythology there was greed for gold. Today, Germans are among those who hoard the most gold. Security is the idea behind it. In Germanic mythology, the goddess Gullveig brought the greed for gold upon the gods. The gods demanded the secret of where the source of wealth was located. The price of zinc as a raw material has risen sharply in recent years. 2021 brought a 14-year high. Zinc is a base metal, as it is used in industry to protect iron and steel parts from corrosion.
