Once again, recent announcements by US President Trump regarding tariffs, this time on steel and aluminum, have driven the price of gold to new highs. The precious metal now costs more than USD 2,900 per ounce. Silver is also rising in price, now at around USD 32 per ounce. And the price of copper is also on the rise. Copper is indispensable for modern technologies, electromobility, wind and solar energy. Further demand for copper is likely to come from the growing artificial intelligence sector and data centers. Mehr als 2.900 US-Dollar je Unze kostete das Edelmetall nun. Auch Silber steigt preislich an, liegt jetzt bei rund 32 US-Dollar je Unze. Und auch der Kupferpreis strebt nach oben.
