The demand for fertilizers is growing in China, especially for potash fertilizers. The country has therefore now agreed an important framework agreement with a multinational production group. According to the agreement, the company will supply a total of 2.5 million tons of potash fertilizer to China between 2025 and 2027, and possibly another 960,000 tons. Demnach wird man von 2025 bis 2027 insgesamt 2,5 Millionen Tonnen Kalidünger an China liefern, eventuell noch weitere 960.000 Tonnen. Auf dem Kaliumchlorid-Markt ist die Nachfrage stark. In Brasilien, einem Hauptabnehmer von Kalidünger, steigen die Preise. So zeigen sich auch die Verkäufer bezüglich zukünftiger Markttrends optimistisch.
